"More tea my dear?" His eyes were locked
Upon the blond and blue eyed girl
Who found the party at six o clock
As did all who passed their world
For the first time he held refrain
She gave him now a sense repressed
For a moment she made him feel sane
This girl clothed in a light blue dress
A rose of white as white as pearl
Which grew beside him on the lawn
The perfect gift for the perfect girl
Who made him feel like time moved on
Within the lines that came and went
They entered into lovers lore
Like tea and teapot never spent
Their hearts entwined forevermore
